In first edition, the event aims to sensitize the target of local police about themes of Security and Smart City. To the conference, organized by Maggioli Group, will participate commanders and officials of the local police b! will present ePlate 2.0, the innovative system  which enables the end-user to read and automatically track license plates in a ring of intelligent cameras positioned on the territory. Sensors can detect license plates and extract letters.

More than 30 designers from 80 countries participated in the first edition of Knitting For Juliet. The three that remain are competing for generous scholarships offered by Fashion Ground – Academy Of Italian Design. This is KNITTING FOR JULIET. The party started in Verona in June 2014. And now the wait is over: On February 14 – Valentine’s Day – the city of Verona, already celebrating ‘Verona in Love’, will crown the most ambitious designer during a series of events and opportunities to admire inspired knitwear created of in the name of Juliet. Knitting for Juliet is sponsored by b!, Stoll, Safil, Fondazione Arena di Verona, AMO, Mario Foroni and the Verona Fashion Consortium.

b! is the new Partner of Fashion Ground Academy, the Italian fashion academy based in Verona. The purpose of partnership between b! and Fashion Ground Academy is to support the growth of use of technology in fashion sector in order to increase creativity, innovation and efficiency. The first project that involves b! and Fashion Ground is “Knitting for Juliet”, the first Knit Award in the world dedicated to young talents eager to enter the world of knitting, one of the key sectors of fashion.  Knitting for Juliet is a great competition aimed at rewarding the first 30 classified participants  with generous scholarships, amounting to more than 80 thousand euro. The competition consists of a main section -Knitting for Juliet – and two sub-sections:  Knit for Opera (in collaboration with the Arena di Verona) to reward the best clothes theme, and Dress Code (in collaboration with b!) to reward those who will be able to imagine the connection between clothing and social media. In particular Cisco will discuss how the Internet of Things ( IoT) is able to facilitate the process of Food Chain Traceability through the introduction of sensors that could allow an automated collection of data and events . b ! will show some technological solutions ( systems – solutions – services ) that impact effectively on Traceability.
